I suggest pure whey protein stack.

Champion Nutrition does it again! This flavor is relatively new to me... I tried a sample pack a couple of months ago and it was absolutely delicious. It's not a super-fake banana taste (like the Runts candies), but more of a creamy flavor, which is implied by the play on words that is the name of the flavor (Banana Scream::Bananas'n'Cream).

The quality of the protein is excellent as well, including both isolate and concentrate (a stack). Great overall consistency, stirring ability (a bit thick on the surface of the liquid when you stir it), shaking consistency is perfect (frothy, creamy, lump-less), and blend-ability is great, too. It thickens up and lightens up nicely when blended, turning 16oz of shake into about 24 oz's of a lighter frothier liquid. It has a consistent texture when blended as well, unlike some proteins that settle and have separation.

Overall, I give this whey a 5/5. Delicious taste, great macros, and great price.

There are two types of diabetes and it all has to do with insulin. Insulin is the hormone most responsible for weight maintenance/ gain. Most people who are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes will be overweight because they have very high insulin levels due to their cells being insulin resistant. Type 1 diabetics, on the other hand, will loose a significant amount of weight because they usually have little or no insulin circulating.

Yep -- being overweight is the Number One contributing factor to TYPE 2 Diabetes.

But, the rapid weight loss does not occur until you are SEVERELY diabetic for a LONG time -- like 3-6 MONTHS of having DAILY blood sugar over 500.

The poor use of (or lack of) insulin in the body means that sugar cannot pass form your blood into your cells. Thus, even though you are eating like a horse, your body is actually starving to death!

Eventually, your body starts to digest itself, thus causing the weight loss. But this is a VERy unnatural condition, and when your body digests itself is causes toxic chemicals , called KETONES, to build up in your blood. This will eventually make you blood slightly acidic, and the result is Diabetic Ketoacidosis -- a disease than can be fatal (the acid blood causes heart arrhythmia problems -- similar to a heart attack.

SO, while the weight loss DOES help the body, the WAY you are losing weight is dangerous and even fatal!

There fore, a diabetic MUST lose weight, but it must be done in a controlled manner, so that your kidneys can get rid of the toxic chemicals -- like they would normally.

Obesity creates insulin-resistance. Without insulin, your body can't use the sugar for energy, so it stays in your blood stream. Since your body can't use the sugar, it's forced to burn large amounts of fat for energy (hence the losing weight issue). If enough fat is burnt, bi-products called ketones build up and make your body very acidic. This acid, combined with high blood sugar, can cause life-threatening problems like coma.

magnus moss is right.
i'm not a physician or medical worker of any kind..
i just speak from experience. my bf has always been overweight, had a bad diet, unhealthy life style, etc. recently, over several months, he seemed to be losing weight without even trying! here i was trying to eat healthy while he was eating the same big meals and losing weight. turns out he is diabetic. they told him weight loss IS one sign you can have.
it's just good to get checked out.
my bf has made a great life style change and is doing well.

Being overweight or obese is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes.

Rapid weight loss is a sign of uncontrolled or undiagnosed type 1 diabetes.

They are actually two very different disorders with the same name. Yeah, it's confusing. :)
